​The name Creo comes from the latin meaning "I create" - a philosophy that sits at the heart of everything we do.  At Creo Gardens, we are passionate about designing and building, inspiring outdoor spaces​.​​
 

Michael Batt founded Creo Gardens over 10 years ago, growing the business through a dedication to exceptional landscaping, craftsmanship, and horticultural expertise. With more than 15 years of experience within the horticultural industry, Michael holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Plant Sciences and Horticulture, alongside RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) and HTA (Horticultural Trades Association) accredited qualifications.
His education includes studies at Bristol Botanic Garden, Bicton College, and University of Plymouth, providing a strong foundation in both practical and academic horticulture.​​

"I have a wide range of knowledge and experience aquired from my work on small projects to large high end high budget projects with complex design features and use of new market construction materials.  I attempt to marry and blend interesting hard materials with a focus on natural products such as stone and timber embedding these elements into a matrix of plants that enhance an outdoor space that enhance it for the home owner and the natural environment."

Creo Gardens undertakes both large and small landscaping projects, specialising in garden design, construction, and planting. We also provide a range of complementary services, including grounds maintenance, consultancy, soil testing and analysis, and detailed site surveys
